At Eccentricity, our team of dual trade electricians and cable jointers are fully qualified to work on cables up to 66kV, including XLPE, PILC and EPR cables. With over a decade of industry experience, Eccentricity has the flexibility to take on small- and large-scale projects alike. High Voltage Installation
Eccentricity categorises high voltage installations as a group of items of electrical equipment per- manently connected and supplied by either an electricity entity or a generating source. Voltages are generally greater than 1000V AC RMS or 1500V ripple-free DC, but also includes equipment asso- ciated with protection and earthing systems. Our exerpertise also extends to low voltage cables and complex switchgear.

Our qualified electricians provide a fully com- prehensive reporting structure to our customers by logging every electrical asset. Not only will you have an accurate overview of the condition of your electrical assets, but you will be able to comprehend and plan for requirements into the future.

UQ WARWICK SOLAR FARM
Eccentricity was recently engaged to provide high voltage installations services for a solar farm project in Warwick, QLD. The complex installation comprised of 33kV NKT Elbow ter- minations to PCU’s and 33kV NKT Plug in RPIT terminations.
To ensure accurate cuts, chamfering and clean cable terminations, our qualified technicians employed the correct cable jointing tools to ultimately eliminate cable failure.
Our client was impressed with the precise na- ture and high quality of our work, which was evident during the installation process all the way through to completion of the project.
Project: APLNG Gas Gathering Systems Client: Origin Energy (Primary), CPB (Primary), Mega Electrics Contract Value: $1,650,000,000
APLNG Gas Systems
Eccentricity’s recently completed project, APLNG: Gas Gathering Systems, has seen our team spend over nine months completing an in- stallation of high voltage underground systems in Central QLD.
The relevant scope of works consisted of 22kV inline Joins, 3.3kV branch joins, 22kV Raychem elbow terminations as well as 3.3kV transformer terminations. Not to mention significant com- missioning works which included cable VLF testing, transformer commissioning and earth grid testing.
Our reliable team were able to endure the tough conditions to deliver a large-scale project outcome for a valued client.
